- Location Data (Background & Foreground): We collect your GPS coordinates to send your live location to your trusted emergency contacts during an active SOS session. We do not track your location when an SOS session is not active.
- SMS / Phone Contacts: We require SMS permissions to dispatch emergency alerts to your selected contacts in the background. We do not read your personal messages.
- Camera & Microphone: These are used strictly to record audio/video evidence during an active emergency. The recordings are stored locally on your device unless you choose to share them.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your live location and emergency alerts are transmitted exclusively to the emergency contacts you have explicitly selected within the app.

We implement industry-standard security measures to ensure that any data processed by the Guardian SOS app is kept secure. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
